As part of Engineers Week, we hosted an exciting Minecraft Education workshop at Tallaght Library, where students applied engineering and coding skills to design their own amusement parks!

Engineering & Creativity in Action
Students used Redstone circuits, command blocks, and coding (block-based and Python) to power rollercoasters, automate rides, and design immersive parks. This hands-on challenge helped them develop skills in structural and electrical engineering, coding, and problem-solving.
Showcasing Innovation
By the end of the session, students presented their creations, explaining the engineering behind their designs. From gravity-powered rides to interactive ticket booths, their creativity was inspiring!
Shaping Future Engineers
Workshops like these make STEM education fun and practical, showing students that engineering and coding are exciting and valuable skills. A huge thanks to Tallaght Library and all participants— we can’t wait for the next adventure!
