Bringing Imagination to Life: LEGO Art Workshop at Tallaght Library

Last week, we had the pleasure of running a LEGO Art Workshop at Tallaght Library — and what an inspiring day it was! Students from the local area gathered to bring their favourite superheroes, pets, and characters to life, one brick at a time.

Using colourful LEGO tiles and base plates, the young creators built eye-catching LEGO mosaics that reflected their passions and personalities. From Batman and Pikachu to family dogs and fantasy creatures, each mosaic was a unique expression of creativity.

It was amazing to see the concentration, pride, and joy as the mosaics came together. With a little patience and a lot of imagination, students transformed simple LEGO bricks into vibrant pixel-style artworks — and the results were incredible.

We’d like to say a big thank you to South Dublin County Libraries for the opportunity to work with such enthusiastic and imaginative students, and to Tallaght Library for being such a fantastic host. The day was filled with fun, colour, and brilliant ideas — and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
